The Dajjal will emerge at a time when religious commitment is low, and knowledge has decreased. Taken to its simplest and most important terms, man will claim to be divine – even possibly Jesus Christ the Jewish Messiah. He will defend Israel against the Mahdi and Isa and deceive many people into leaving the religion of the prophet.
Perhaps this is a matter of perspective. For some, there is Mahdi a world leader, Isa a prophet, and Dajjal who leads may astray. When we journey through Revelation, there is a beast, false prophet, and the return of the King. Are we talking about the same story from a different perspective? Let’s dive in.
Join us as we continue to build the foundation to talk through some important eschatology topics such as the rapture, millennial kingdom, seven years tribulation, the false prophet, a future temple, and the book of 'Revelation (seals, trumpets, bowls, judgement, and wrath).
Next up... What is The Day of the Lord? Christians long for the return of Christ, but do we understand what that means for the world, the end times, and what role Christians play during this momentous event? Everything is leading up to it? Are you ready for the return of Jesus?

Did you know Christians aren’t the only ones awaiting the return of Jesus during the end times. There is another religion of nearly two billion adherents who believe the Jesus of Mary will return. His name will be Isa al-Maseeh (the messiah), and he will destroy the antichrist in a climactic battle.
However, are we talking about the same Jesus written about in the Bible? Let’s dig a little further and compare how this group of people describe Isa and what the Bible has to say about not only Jesus said he was, but what the early church writers proclaimed. It’s important to know the differences.

Next up... Dajjal, the antichrist. Who is this person according to their sacred texts and what is his role towards the end times narrative? See you next week.

For a religion nearing 2 billion people, they eagerly await a promised leader who will unite the people of the prophet and rule the world with justice and righteousness. He is "the guided" one, who will end all oppression and cruelty in the world ultimately creating a utopian society based upon their principles.
According to Jesus and the New Testament early church writers, during the end times period, people are going to abandon the Christian faith. There will be a significant global falling away - an apostasy. People will follow false teachers and be forced to worship a world leader (antichrist). The best way for followers of Christ to prepare and avoid being deceived is to become educated. You have to be clear to learn what the Bible says about who the real Jesus is and what story you are living in.

Next up... Isa, another version of Jesus. What does this group believe about the return of Christ? How does it align with our end times narrative. Stay tuned.

Can we ignore Islam and the teachings of Muhammad, a religion with nearly 2 billion followers worldwide, from the end times narrative? I don’t think we can. How does their eschatology align with the Christian apocalyptic literature. Let’s dive in!
Are you aware…
They believe in the coming of an Antichrist (Ad-Dajjal)
Muslims await the return of Jesus (Isa Al-Maseeh)
Islam is looking for their messiah (Al-Mahdi).

Welcome to another episode of Escaping Babylon.
Did you know…
The New Testament contains over 318 passages about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
The entire Bible contains approximately 1,800 passages about the Second Coming
References to the second coming outnumber references to the first coming by 8:1
It is mentioned in 40 of the 66 books of the Bible.
7 out of 10 chapters in the NT mention the second coming.
If you're counting… That's 1 out of every 30 verses.
We finish up our journey through Daniel 9. Who is the “HE” that makes a seven-year peace treaty. Has it already happened? Is it a future Roman Empire ruler? Or perhaps, we need to look at this passage with fresh eyes. Is there another group of people in the Middle East that Christians should be paying attention to?
It's a controversial topic. Let’s dive in!

Welcome to another episode of Escaping Babylon.
Today we’ll see another prophecy in the book of Daniel that was fulfilled just as written.
Last week, we talked about the seventy weeks of years. On the 69th week, predicted to the very day, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey declaring himself as their rightful King. However, the prophecy continues, and the same people declaring, “Hosanna!” that day would declare, “Crucify him!” just a few days later. The messiah was cut off.
However, what about that last final seven week of years? What do the end times have to say about that? Who is the “He” spoken of by Daniel, and who are the people that destroyed the temple? Let’s dive in and continue growing.

Welcome to another episode of Escaping Babylon.
This is the build-up we’ve been working towards and an exciting podcast.
Was there ever a time a prophecy was given that predicted the very day something would happen? Many scholars believe so, and that prophecy is found in Daniel 9. Let’s dive into this important passage and explore an exciting prophecy given by Gabriel to Daniel concerning the seventy weeks of years for Israel.
In AD 32 Jesus rode into Jerusalem riding on a donkey and declared himself as King. What are the possibilities this was predicted down to the very day he arrived as Messiah. If this was prophesized hundreds of years ahead of time, down to the very day, can the Bible be trusted as a reliable source in the end times conversation. Let’s dive in!

Welcome to another episode of Escaping Babylon. We want to learn more about the end times, remove some of the silliness that has slipped in, and help you understand that the Bible can be a trusted resource for your life. Jesus wanted his disciples to be prepared for the future.
Once again, we’re diving into Daniel chapter nine this week. Seventy Sevens have been decreed for Israel and Gabriel shares some things that must be accomplished for this to happen. How do these seventy sevens apply to eschatology, the tribulation, an antichrist, Israel, the church, and the book of Revelation.

Welcome to another episode of Escaping Babylon. We often hear people refer to the seven years of tribulation in the end times conversation. However, Jesus never refers to seven years. The book of Revelation never directly mentions seven years. Most often, it is referred to as 42 months, 1,260 days, or a time, times, and half time – which is 3½ years.
We’re diving into Daniel chapter nine this week. Here, we come across one of the most profound prophecies in all of Scripture. Many say it is the key to all prophetic interpretation, and others mention it is the backbone of biblical prophecy. It is certainly where the idea of seven years of tribulation has its roots.

Welcome to another episode of Escaping Babylon. We’re taking a turn this week before jumping into Daniel 9. Why do people struggle with the end times conversation? What are some of the obstacles that get in our way? Are there areas in our life that cloud our understanding of scripture and how we interpret eschatological topics like the rapture, antichrist, the serpent, beast, tribulation, seals, trumpets, bowls, and even the sequence of events.
Each of us have biases and preconceived ideas that shape this conversation, and we need to stop long enough to identify what those are and ask an important question. Are these opinions and worldviews helping or hurting this conversation?
