Will You Bow? | E90

In Daniel 3, King Nebuchadnezzar builds a massive golden image and demands that everyone bow down and worship when the music plays. Refuse, and you die in the furnace.

But this story is more than ancient history. Daniel 3 is a rehearsal for a pattern Scripture says will return in the last days: a ruler who exalts himself, a system that demands allegiance, and a test that proves who you truly serve.

In this episode of Escaping Babylon, we connect Daniel 3 to key end-times passages in 2 Thessalonians 2, Matthew 24, and Revelation 12–14, showing how the “spirit of Babylon” works: it centralizes power, manufactures worship, punishes dissent, and pressures God’s people to compromise.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego model what we’ll need in any age of coercion: faithful presence without panic, courage without revolt, and loyalty to God above empire. Because Daniel 3 isn’t primarily about bravery, it’s about worship under pressure.

Key passages: Daniel 3, 2 Thessalonians 2:1–4, Matthew 24:15–21, Revelation 12:17, Revelation 13–14

Big question: When the image is raised and the pressure comes, will you bow, or will you stand?
